York Motorcycle Festival

The York Motorcycle Festival is a free, family event that celebrates motorcycling as a sport, a leisure activity, and as entertainment for all ages. Now in its fifth year, the York Motorcycle Festival brings together a motorbike festival to the York community, with all the fun of a family festival. Market stalls and trade displays, food stalls, live music, motorbike stunt shows, kid’s activities, Show & Shine competition – and all free and family friendly. The Festival brings around 5,000 people to York and is a fun, relaxed and entertaining day out.

The York Motorcycle Festival serves as a charity event, raising funds for Wheels for Hope. Motorcycle Rider’s Association of WA will also launch 2017 Motorcycle Safety Week at the Festival. Avon Tourism will also launch the Motorcycle Friendly Town’s project, with activities planned at the Festival and throughout the Avon region. The main Festival will be held on Sunday 23rd April, however it all kicks off on the Saturday night before with a concert to be held in the town. Visitors are encouraged to come to York on the Saturday and camp or take up accommodation in town; then stay on the following day to enjoy the Festival.
